Directions - the Mallard Creek BBQ fields are located behind the white farm house located on Mallard Creek Road near the Johnston-Oehler Road intersection. If you are driving from the Mallard Creek Raod and Mallard Creek Church road intersection the white farm house will be on your right just before you get to the Johnston-Oehler road intersection. Cooks Firehouse

Cooks Firehouse field: Heading North on (Hwy. 16)Brookshire Blvd from Charlotte, turn left onto Mt Holly-Huntersville Rd. The Firehouse is approx. 1/2 mile on the left.

Coming from the North, take (Hwy. 16) Brookshire Blvd. south and make a right onto Mt. Holly Huntersville Rd. The Firehouse is approx. 1/2 mile on the left.

Coming from Huntersville area, take Mt. Holly Huntersville Rd. West. Cross (Hwy. 16) Brookshire Blvd. The Firehouse is approx. 1/2 mile on the left.

Coulwood Park

Coming from I85 bring Brookshire Blvd up to stop light @ Belhaven Blvd turn Left. Go through next stop light at ValleyDale and field will be on left hand side of the road.

Coming from Mt. Holly/Huntersville Rd cross over Hwy 16 heading south at the next stop light (Rozzelles Ferry/Belhaven) turn left. Field is approx 1.25 miles on right hand side.

East Lincoln Opimist

DIRECTIONS TO EAST LINCOLN OPTIMIST PARK - From Huntersville-Traveling on Highway 73-West, Pass McGuire Nuclear Station and Cowans Ford Dam. Continue on Highway 73-West about 3 more miles to a traffic light and turn right onto Highway 16-North. (Harris Teeter, Arbys, Eckerds, Petro Express are at this intersection) Go about 2 miles to a traffic light and turn left onto Triangle Circle. (There is a Carolina Trust Bank on the corner) Take the first right onto Optimist Club Road. Fields are on the left.

From Coulwood-Traveling North on Highway 16, pass through the Highway 16/73 intersection. (Harris Teeter, Arbys, Eckerds, Petro Express are at this intersection) Continue on Highway 16 North about 2 miles to a traffic light and turn left onto Triangle Circle. (There is a Carolina Trust Bank on the corner) Take the first right onto Optimist Club Road. Fields are on the left.

From Mooresville-Traveling West on Highway 150, turn left at a traffic light onto Highway 16-South. (There is a CVS Pharmacy, First Charter Bank, ABC store at this intersection) Pass through the traffic light in Denver. Continue about another 3 miles and turn right at a traffic light onto Triangle Circle. (There is a Carolina Trust Bank on the corner) Take the first right onto Optimist Club Road. Fields are on the right.

Ferguson Park

Traveling on I-85 South from Charlotte take exit 20, S. New Hope Rd, NC-279. Turn left at the top of the exit ramp onto S. New Hope Road. Go through 5 stop lights and turn right onto Garrison Blvd.@ the 6th light. Go throught 3 stop lights and turn left onto Union Rd. @ the 3rd light. Go down Union Road and on the right, you'll see a Save Mart gas station and Jack Rabbit's Bar and Grill. Turn right beside Jack Rabbit's onto E. 12th Ave. Turn left onto Kelly St. Turn right onto Golf Course Dr. Continue straight into Ferguson Park, field #1 will be on the right.

Harrisburg Elementary

Take I-85 north to I-485. Take I-485 (only one exit, the other way is not complete) to Hwy. 49 towards Harrisburg. Continue on Hwy. 49 into Harrisburg and make a right onto Robinson Church Rd., cross over the railroad tracks and make a left onto Stallings Rd.
Once on Stallings go through the 4-way stop and continue to the entrence of Harrisburg Elementary on the left. Once at the school the fields will be in plain sight in front of the school.

*You will see a park with a pair of fields just before the school. These are not our fields, you must continue to the school just ahead.*

Directions to Mallard Creek from Cornelius: Take 115 or 21 south to Alexanderana and turn left. Follow to Eastfield and turn left. Go to Prosperity Church Rd. and turn right. Follow to Johnston-Oehler and turn left. The park is about 2 miles on the right. (From Alexanderana to Mallard Creek Park is about 6.5 miles) When you get into the park, go to the stop sign and turn left. You’ll see the parking area on the right.
Alternate directions to Mallard Creek going Harris Blvd from Cornelius: Take I-77 S to Harris Blvd.and turn left. Follow to Mallard Creek Rd. and turn left. Directions to Moorehead Elementary School (Oehler Park) - Right onto IBM Way from West WT Harris Blvd., right onto Neil Rd., the fields are up on the left about 8 blocks. IBM Way is the next light past the intersection of Mallard Creek and WT Harris going towards I-85.

North Meck Park form Cornelius: take I-77 South to Exit 25 – turn left onto Sam Furr Rd (Hwy73). Go to the 3rd stoplight and turn right onto Hwy 115 (Old Statesville Rd) The park is ½ mile on the right. Or you can go straight down 115 from Cornelius – cross Sam Furr Rd. and the park is ½ mile on the right.

North Meck Park from Charlotte: take I-77 North to Exit 25 – go right onto Sam Furr Rd. (Hwy73). Go to the 2nd stop light- turn right onto Hwy 115 (Old Statesville Rd) – go about ½ mile and the park is on the right.

Also from Charlotte and Harris Blvd.: Take 115 from Harris and go thru the town of Huntersville. North Meck Park is on the left about 1-2 miles past the stop light in Huntersville(Cashions and Huntersville Town Hall are on the corners).There is a sign at the road.

Odell School



From I-85 take interstate 85 north to exit 55 (hwy 73) turn left at the top of the exit. After passing the lake on your right, the first stoplight you come to will be Odell school road. The school will be across the road on your left. Go through the light and take the first left to go behind the school. The softball field is the first one you come to.

From I-77 - Take exit 25 off I-77 and go east on Hwy 73. After you enter Cabarrus county you will cross over the intersection of Poplar Tent Rd. (You'll see a Lowe's food plaza and a McDonald's) As you approach the next light the Old Odell School will be on your right. The field is in the back.

I-85 South to Little Rock Rd. - Turn right. Go about 300 yds to first light (Arbys’s on corner) - Turn left onto Tuckaseegee Rd. Go 1 mile to West Meck High School. Field is on the left.

From Highway 27 - Take Little Rock south to Tuckaseegee Road. Take a right at stop light onto Tuckaseegee Road. You will pass Wilson Middle School on your right. We are located on left side of road, approx. 1-1/2 miles from intersection, across from West Meck High School. Parking is at high school or Harvest Church every night except Wednesday.

For Insurance reasons WMAA does not allow any pets on the premises, whether they are on a lease or you can carry them.
